Group Therapy


The Bridges Program provides group therapy that is designed to help individuals optimize their personal and social abilities in order to function successfully in the community. Groups focus on different behavior, emotional, cognitive and recovery skills. Individuals choose to attend the groups that best fit their needs.

Emotional Skills Group:  Coping with stress, managing anxiety, dealing constructively with anger and other strong emotions, coping with depression, and other mental illness. There is also a strong emphasis on raising self esteem.
10:00 am - 11:00 am
Community Integration Skills Group:  Focus on the maintenance or development of socially valued age appropriate activities, such as public transportation.
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Behavioral Skills Group:  Appropriate social and interpersonal interaction

10:00 am - 11:00 am
Peer to Peer Recovery:  Peers share successes and difficulties in recovery while building a support community.

10:00 am - 11:00 am
WHAM (Whole Health Action Management):  Helps build healthy habits in a holistic manner.
11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Daily Living and Self Care Skills Group:  Focuses on skills for daily living and self care, such as money management, personal hygiene, home care, shopping and food selection/preparation, and similar skills.
11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Co-Occuring Group:  Focuses on relapse prevention and coping with dual diagnosis.

1:00 - 3:00 pm

Groups change every three months depending on identified needs and feedback from participants.
