Psychiatrist vs. Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

A psychiatrist is a medical doctor that can provide therapy but can also prescribe medication to patients suffering from mental disorders and focuses on managing medication with the individual for the best treatment.

An advanced practice registered nurse has a master’s degree that includes academic and clinical training in a particular area of medicine. Psychiatric nurse practitioners are eligible to prescribe medication and provide psychotherapy.

Psychiatry & Medication Management

Our psychiatric services provide medication management to offer you the best possible treatment. Medication management is a collaborative effort between the provider and individual. Our psychiatrists and advanced practitioning registered nurse will monitor your medication, therapy, and feedback to provide you with the best treatment. All of our services focus on your needs and require your feedback. There are many different solutions and treatments and our staff works to meet your needs.
