An advanced practice registered nurse has a master’s degree that includes academic and clinical training in a particular area of medicine. Psychiatric nurse practitioners are eligible to prescribe medication and provide psychotherapy.

Mark Rindflesh, M.D., is a Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist licensed in Wyoming and Utah, who practices at the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute and has a private practice. Dr. Rindflesh consults with Southwest Counseling Service and is scheduled to provide tele-psychiatry several days a week using Southwest Counseling’s tele psych web-camera system.
Kenyatta Merriweather, APRN, DNP, MSN, is ANCC certified and licensed by the Wyoming State Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with Prescriptive Authority. Ms. Merriweather is able to work independently in the State of Wyoming and provides tele-psychiatry services Monday through Thursday for Southwest Counseling Service.
Virginia (Jenny) Brock, APRN, MSN, is ANCC certified and licensed by the Wyoming State Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with Prescriptive Authority. Ms. Brock is able to work independently in the State of Wyoming and provides tele-psychiatry services Tuesday through Thursday for Southwest Counseling Service.
