The basic alcohol education and traffic safety / DUI education class is an eight-hour educational intervention. It is considered an early intervention American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Level 0.5 course. The class is held once a month on a designated day.

Criteria
A current evaluation with an addiction severity index is required as well as legal documents.
